The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks
I have waited for this book and it looks like FINALLY today I will read it. I cannot wait. It's gotten starred reviews from Publisher's Weekly, The School Library Journal, Kirkus Reviews and more. I love E. Lockhart.
I haven't gotten my copy yet, but soon... soon. I'm also suddenly intrigued by the Twilight Saga (this is what happens when I have way too much homework to do). Have you read them? Are they as good as they sound?
LOVED Disreputable History, will talk more about it later. And the answer is YES, oh my gosh, you MUST read Twilight. I'm not kidding, it will change your life it is so fantastic. In two/three months of public school, I've converted about three or four of my friends already. And I mean religiously converted them to Twilight. READ THEM ASAP.
I'm dying to, after devouring everything I could find about them online. And dude, now I'm pining for her next book, "The Host", too. Omgosh omgosh omgosh. Must. Have. That. Book. The biggest problem is that Stephenie Meyer's books are so ridiculously popular that neither of the used bookstores I called (even the HUGE one) had any of them. I'll have to give in and pay shipping on Amazon's "New and Used".
Reading about all this awesome sci-fi is making me think about writing down my own story, which I (literally) dreamed up a few months ago. Have you ever done any sci-fi?
