Ah, community college. Where I spent the past four or five months of my life, bored, depressed, bleak... those old days.
Comm College is actually a brilliant idea. The flexibility allows people from all walks of life to complete their education without having to deal with too many other people. It's a check-in-the-box kind of place, not a sit-and-wonder-at-the-beauty kind of place. In fact, it's quite ugly.
The problem is, as a junior, I don't want a check-in-the-box. I want some place where I can talk with friends and comment on fashion choices and gossip about celebs. Or Chaucer. Chaucer is good too.
Granted, Maud Lovelace Public High School is not Princeton when it comes to looks. But it's prettier than a lot of high schools in Faulkner. And it's big.
